The Portico Bamboo Beach Bag brings together STELAR’s heritage bamboo weaving with Patémar’s upcycled ocean-bound plastic waste fabric. A collaboration shaped by craft, utility, and quiet tropical living.

Each bag is handwoven from locally sourced bamboo using a double-layer Lombok weaving technique, creating a structure that is strong, durable, and naturally lightweight. The silhouette is spacious enough for daily essentials, yet refined enough to carry beyond the beach.

A detachable outer pocket is crafted from Patémar off-cut fabric, designed as a waterproof pouch to separate wet swimwear from dry belongings. It can also be carried on its own as a small travel pouch for essentials. The interior is lined with Patémar fabric, bringing a subtle contrast of texture and function to the handwoven bamboo form.

Each piece is finished with a unique artisan code, connecting the bag to the maker behind it and supporting the continuation of traditional craftsmanship in the villages where these techniques have been passed down.
