Patémar was founded by two friends - Rudy and Florian, both are ocean enthusiasts and divers who were frustrated with the environmental impact within the deep blue. Combining our love for the sea with expertise in design, they set out to create swimwear that is as kind to the environment as it is flattering in and out of the water. Their vision is clear: to take plastic pollutant from the water, and turn it into something beautiful that people can use to go back to the water.  And just like that Patémar - a wordplay from Pater (meaning guardian) and Mar (meaning the ocean) - was born.
